Angel'S Hash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    No. 2 can crushed pineapple
    1/2 lb. lightly salted butter
    3 c. powdered sugar
    4 eggs
    1 pt. whipped cream
    1 lb. box vanilla wafers, crushed
Preparation
    Combine butter, sugar and eggs in large mixer and beat until light and fluffy (8 to 10 minutes).
    Cover bottom of 10 x 15 x 1 1/2-inch baking dish with wafer crumbs; layer with custard mixture, then pineapple, then whipped cream.
    Refrigerate 4 hours.
