Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. all-purpose flour, sifted
3/4 c. cornmeal
2 egg whites or 1/4 c. egg substitute
1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. skim milk
1/4 c. vegetable oil
1/3 c. corn syrup or sugar
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients together, mixing in liquid ingredients. Pour into 8-inch square pan which has been oiled or sprayed with cooking spray.
Bake at 425\u00b0 until golden brown.
Yields 8-inch square or round pan.
