Strawberry Fig Preserves - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. figs, mashed
    3 c. sugar
    1 (6 oz.) strawberry gelatin
Preparation
    Mash figs with potato masher and mix in pan with sugar and gelatin.
    Bring to a boil and cook for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Seal in jars . Yield: 2 1/2 pints.
