Arizona Ranch Bean Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. cooked pinto beans
    1 1/2 c. cooked white rice
    1 large tomato, skinned and diced
    1 c. chopped bacon, browned
    3 small onions, finely chopped
    2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. paprika
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    4 c. water (approximately)
Preparation
    In large pan, combine beans, rice and tomatoes.
    In skillet, brown bacon, onion and garlic until well cooked.
    Add with bacon drippings to bean mixture.
    Add seasonings and 2 cups water. Cover; simmer, stirring occasionally for 1 hour.
    Add additional water, 1/2 cup at a time during cooking.
    The amount depends on desired consistency.
    Yields about 6 cups of soup.
