Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. yeast
5 c. self-rising flour
1/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. shortening
2 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Mix
yeast with 2 tablespoons warm water.
Add sugar to flour and cut in shortening. Stir in buttermilk. Add yeast and blend. Store in refrigerator until ready to use.
(Does better if chilled at least 30 minutes.)
