Shortbread Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted flour
    1 c. butter
    1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar
    1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Resift flour and baking powder; cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
    Slowly add flour.
    Stir in nuts.
    Cover and chill.
    Roll out on floured board to 1/4-inch thickness.
    Cut in any shape you want.
    Place on ungreased sheet.
    Bake 20 minutes at 300\u00b0 or until edges are very lightly browned.
    Makes about 2 dozen.
