Sausage And Rice Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. bulk pork sausage
    4 1/2 c. water
    2 (2 1/8 oz. each) pkg. dehydrated noodle soup
    1 c. sliced celery
    1 pimento, chopped
    1 medium size onion, finely chopped
    1/2 green pepper, finely chopped
    1 c. uncooked rice
    1/2 c. grated sharp cheese
Preparation
    Fry sausage until well browned and drain off excess fat. Break up sausage with a wooden spoon as it fries so that it is crisp to pick up savory drippings.
    Stir in chicken noodle soup. Bring to a boil again and remove from heat.
    Add celery, pimento, onion, chopped green pepper and rice.
    Turn into a 9 x 13-inch greased baking pan; sprinkle with cheese over top.
    Bake, uncovered, in a slow oven (300\u00b0) for 1 hour.
    Serves 6 to 8.
