Zucchini Raisin Cookies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 egg
1 c. shredded, peeled zucchini
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. raisins
1 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar together.
Add egg, beat well.
Add zucchini and set aside.
Combine all dry ingredients and add to zucchini mixture.
Stir thoroughly, then add raisins.
Drop rounded teaspoonfuls 2-inches apart on greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
Yield:
3 dozen.
