Hawaiian Tea - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. water
    6 regular size tea bags
    1 (8 oz.) jar maraschino cherries, plus juice
    1/2 c. water
    1 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. lemon juice
    2 1/2 c. pineapple juice
Preparation
    Heat 1/2 cup water and sugar together until sugar dissolves. Brew tea; add sugar-water mixture and the remaining ingredients.
