Ham Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. whole cloves
    1 lb. smoked ham, ground
    1 lb. lean pork or veal, ground
    3 Tbsp. green pepper, chopped
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 c. milk
    4 c. corn flakes, crushed
Preparation
    Pat sugar evenly over bottom of loaf pan.
    Arrange cloves over sugar.
    Beat milk and eggs together and add to meat with corn flakes and green pepper.
    Press meat in pan over sugar and cloves. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 to 1 1/4 hours.
    Let stand 15 minutes.
    Invert on platter; discard cloves.
    Serve with plum sauce.
