Hash Brown Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. pkg. frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
    1/4 to 1/2 c. melted butter (use less to cut calories)
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 can cream of mushroom soup (low-fat kind works well)
    1 1/2 to 2 c. grated cheese
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    2 c. sour cream (I use the nonfat)
    bread crumbs
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients except bread crumbs. Spread in a lightly greased casserole (9 x 13-inch or longer) dish. Top with bread crumbs. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
