Bahamas Dove - cooking recipe
Ingredients

12 dove breasts, cut in bite-sized pieces
1 c. red wine
3 Tbsp. soy sauce
1 clove garlic
1/4 tsp. ginger
1/2 c. vinegar
1/3 c. packed brown sugar
1 medium bell pepper
1 can pineapple chunks and juice
3 Tbsp. oil
flour
Preparation

Marinate dove at least 2 hours in wine.
Roll marinated dove in flour; brown in oil.
Mix soy sauce, ginger, vinegar and brown sugar; heat.
Add garlic, pineapple and pepper to dove.
Heat to boiling; add sugar mixture to dove.
Simmer about 45 minutes. Serve with steamed rice.
