Banana Split Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. boiling water
    1 (8 serving) or 2 (4 serving) pkg. Jell-O (any red flavor)
    2 c. cold water
    1 pt. (2 c.) vanilla ice cream, softened
    Cool Whip topping, thawed
    sliced banana and strawberries or kiwi
    pineapple chunks
    chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Stir boiling water into gelatin in large bowl 2 minutes or until dissolved completely.
    Stir in cold water.
    Stir in ice cream until smooth.
    Pour into serving bowls or cups.
    Refrigerate 3 hours or until set.
    Garnish with Cool Whip, fruits and nuts. Makes 8 servings.
