Hot Milk Sponge Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large eggs
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. self-rising flour
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Whip together until very light, eggs and sugar.
    Measure into cup the flour.
    Add vanilla to egg mixture. Heat milk with butter until butter melts.
    Dump hot milk and flour into egg.
    Fold thoroughly, using wire whip.
    Pour into greased and floured 2 layer cake pan or 9 x 13-inch sheet cake pan.
    Bake for 30 minutes.
