Peanut Butter Gems - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 stick butter
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. vanilla
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
48 miniature Reese's peanut butter cups

Preparation

Mix first 9 ingredients and roll into small balls (48). Grease miniature muffin tins and bake the balls for 7 to 9 minutes at 375\u00b0.
When cooked, immediately push (unwrapped) mini Reese's peanut butter cups into the cookies firmly while still in pan. Let set for 2 minutes and then remove cookies from pan.
Makes 4 dozen gems.
