Texas Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pie shells
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. flour
    1 can crushed pineapple
    1 (10 oz.) carton frozen strawberries
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
    1 large carton Cool Whip
    4 large bananas
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Bake pie shells.
    Cool.
    Cube 1 banana into each pie shell; set aside.
    In 2-quart saucepan, combine sugar, flour and pineapple; stir until thick.
    Add jello and stir until dissolved. Add frozen strawberries; stir until well mixed.
    Cube remaining 2 bananas into mixture and add pecans.
    Mix well and pour in shells. Refrigerate for about 2 hours.
    Top with Cool Whip.
