Pineapple Upside-Down Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. shortening
    1/2 c. flour
    1 1/4 c. flour
    1/2 c. pineapple juice
    4 slices pineapple
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. brown sugar
Preparation
    Combine shortening, salt and sugar.
    Add egg.
    Sift flour and baking powder.
    Add small amounts of flour to creamed mixture alternately with pineapple juice.
    Sprinkle brown sugar on bottom of deep 8 x 8-inch pan, well-greased.
    Arrange pineapple slices on sugar and pour batter over all.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes.
