Ingredients

1/4 c. granulated sugar
3/4 c. butter or margarine, softened
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. uncooked cream of wheat cereal
1/2 c. finely chopped walnuts
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation

In large bowl, beat butter and granulated sugar until creamy. Beat in flour and cream of wheat cereal until well blended.
Stir in walnuts and vanilla.
Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on greased cookie sheet.
Bake 15 to 18 minutes at 350\u00b0 or until lightly golden.
Cool slightly.
While still warm, roll in powdered sugar.
Cool completely on wire rack.
