Cheddar And Turkey Potato Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 oz. mushrooms, sliced
1/4 c. chopped onion
3 Tbsp. butter
1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 c. chicken broth
1/2 c. milk
2 c. cooked, chopped turkey
1 pkg. frozen mixed vegetables, thawed
2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
2 c. mashed potatoes

Preparation

Cook and stir mushrooms and onion in butter over medium high heat for 3 minutes.
Stir in flour and pepper.
Gradually stir in broth and milk; cook, stirring frequently until mixture thickens. Reduce heat to low and stir in turkey, vegetables and 1 cup cheese.
Simmer 5 minutes.
Stir 3/4 cup cheese into potatoes. Spoon turkey mix into casserole.
Top with potato mix.
Place under broiler for 5 minutes.
Top with remaining cheese and paprika.
Broil another 2 minutes.
