Apple Fritters - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sifted flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3 Tbsp. confectioners sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/3 c. milk
1 egg, well beaten
2 medium-size tart apples, thinly sliced
Preparation

Sift the dry ingredients into a bowl.
Stir the milk into the egg; add to dry ingredients and mix well.
Mix in the apples. Drop batter by spoonfuls into deep fat heated to 375\u00b0 and fry for about 3 minutes.
Turn fritters during frying.
Drain on paper towels.
Yields about 1 1/2 dozen.
