Stromboli Sandwiches - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. sausage
    1 lb. ground beef
    15 oz. tomato sauce
    1 large onion (optional)
    1 green pepper (optional)
    1 Tbsp. oregano
    1 Tbsp. sweet basil
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. chili powder
    Mozzarella cheese, shredded
    hoagie or steak buns
Preparation
    Brown beef and sausage; drain grease.
    Add remaining ingredients and simmer until hot.
    Spread mixture on bottom half of bun and sprinkle Mozzarella cheese over mixture.
    Put top of bun in place; wrap in foil and bake 10 minutes at 400\u00b0.
    These can be wrapped in paper towels and heated in a microwave until the cheese melts.
