"Miss Pearl'S" Egg Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 stick oleo or butter
    1 c. sugar
    2 c. milk
    5 eggs
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Melt oleo; add sugar and salt.
    Beat 5 eggs just enough to mix well.
    Add eggs and milk to creamed mixture.
    Add vanilla; pour into a 9-inch unbaked pie shell.
    Sprinkle nutmeg on top and bake at 345\u00b0 about 40 minutes or until almost firm.
