Mincemeat - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lb. beef or venison
    2 lb. raisins
    1 (12 oz.) can orange juice
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. vinegar
    6 lb. apples
    2 lb. brown sugar
    1 1/2 qt. apple juice
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Bake pie until very lightly browned.
    Cool and freeze uncovered.
    Remove from freezer and let set at room temperature for 30 minutes.
    Finish baking at 350\u00b0.
    Pies will stay good in freezer from 4 to 6 months.
