Candied Acorn Squash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium acorn squash (about 1 lb.)
    3 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. margarine or butter
    1 tsp. lemon juice or water
    1/8 tsp. ground cinnamon or ground nutmeg
Preparation
    Cut squash crosswise into 1-inch thick rings.
    Discard seeds. Arrange in a single layer in an 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish.
    If desired, sprinkle with salt and pepper.
    Bake, covered, in a 350\u00b0 oven for 40 minutes.
