Boston Baked Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. beans
    1/2 lb. salt pork
    1 slice onion
    3 Tbsp. molasses
    2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. mustard
Preparation
    Soak beans overnight in cold water.
    Simmer in some water until tender.
    Drain some liquid.
    Combine beans, pork and onion in bean pot in layers.
    Combine molasses and seasonings.
    Pour over beans. Add enough bean liquid to cover.
    Cover and bake 8 hours.
    Remove cover last half.
    Add little boiling water if beans seem dry.
