Lemon Nut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 sticks butter
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    6 eggs, separated
    1 small bottle lemon extract
    1 tsp. baking powder
    3 3/4 c. flour
    chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream the butter and sugar.
    Add egg yolks, extract, baking powder and flour; mix well.
    Beat the egg whites with electric mixer and add to cake mixture.
    Stir in nuts.
    Pour into greased and floured tube pan.
    Bake at 275\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
