Microwave Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. white corn syrup
    1 c. salted peanuts without skins
    1 tsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Stir sugar and corn syrup together in 2-quart microwave-safe bowl.
    Microwave for 4 minutes at 100% power.
    Add peanuts and stir well.
    Microwave for 4 minutes at 100% power.
    Add butter and vanilla.
    Stir well.
    Microwave 30 seconds to 2 minutes at 100% power.
    Watch carefully.
    Add baking soda.
    Stir gently until light and foamy.
    Pour mixture at once onto buttered cookie sheet.
    Cool 1/2 to 1 hour.
