Ingredients

1/2 c. water
1 pt. strawberries, mashed or cut fine
1 pt. whole strawberries
3/4 c. sugar, mixed with 1/4 cup cornstarch
1 Tbsp. lemon juice

Preparation

Cook mashed berries, water and sugar/cornstarch in saucepan over medium low heat.
Stir frequently.
When mixture is clear and thick, add lemon juice.
Let stand to cool.
