Christmas Lizzies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. soda
    1 c. soft butter or oleo
    2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    4 eggs, beaten
    3/4 c. brandy
    3 c. chopped seedless raisins
    1/2 lb. mixed candied fruit
    8 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Sift flour, spices and soda together.
    Cream butter and sugar. Add beaten eggs, blending thoroughly.
    Add flour mixture to butter mixture alternately with brandy.
    Dust pecans, raisins and fruit with flour.
    Add to batter.
    Drop by teaspoons onto greased cookie sheet.
    Bake about 30 minutes in 275\u00b0 oven.
    Makes about 10 dozen and will keep for weeks (if you hide them) in airtight container or Ziploc bags.
