Okra Seafood Gumbo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. okra, cut
    2 Tbsp. cooking oil
    2 onions, chopped
    parsley
    salt
    pepper
    1 lb. crabmeat or 1 large can or use 6 fresh crabs
    1 large slice ham, cubed
    3 lb. shrimp, cleaned and deveined
    3 qt. water
    1 pt. oysters
Preparation
    In large frying pan fry okra, turning often until no longer sticky.
    Remove.
    Brown ham and other seasoning.
    Add okra, shrimp and crabs, mixing well.
    Add about 2 quarts water and cook slowly, about 1 hour.
    Add water according to thickness desired.
    Add oysters and crabmeat (if canned) last.
    Serve over rice.
