Tijuana Torte - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 lb. can stewed tomatoes
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 (4 oz.) can green chilies
    1 pkg. taco seasoning
    1 lb. Cheddar cheese, shredded
    flour tortillas
    lettuce, chopped
    tomato, chopped
    salsa
Preparation
    Brown beef and onion; drain. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, chilies and taco seasoning. Simmer 10 to 15 minutes. Place 1/4 to 1/2 cup mixture in bottom of greased 9 x 13-inch pan or glass baking dish. Place a layer of tortillas on top of meat, then add more meat mixture, then cheese. Layer tortillas 3 times with meat and cheese. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes or until cheese is bubbly. Top with lettuce, tomato and salsa.
