Cheese Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
4 Tbsp. shortening
1/2 c. grated American cheese
7/8 c. milk
Preparation

Sift the dry ingredients and work in the shortening and cheese.
Add the milk.
When well mixed, toss the dough on a floured board and pat to 1/2-inch in thickness.
Shape into rounds with a biscuit cutter.
Place in an oiled baking pan.
Brush with milk and bake in a very hot oven (450\u00b0) from 12 to 15 minutes.
