Marsala Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 chicken legs, skinned
    2 finely chopped onions
    1 tsp. ground ginger
    2 to 3 cloves ground garlic
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 tsp. turmeric
    1 Tbsp. coriander
    1/2 Tbsp. cumin
    1/2 tsp. red pepper
    pinch of black pepper
    1/4 c. vegetable oil
    1/2 c. plain yogurt
    2 ripe tomatoes, chopped
Preparation
    Heat oil in large pan.
    Add chopped onions and fry until golden brown, then add all the spices.
    Fry for 1 minute.
    Add tomatoes and fry to form a paste.
    (You may have to add 1/4 cup water.)
    Now add the chicken and yogurt.
    Cover pan.
    After 2 minutes, lower heat to medium and cook until chicken is very tender.
    Serve with pita bread, tortillas or rice.
