Thelma Chester'S Gingerbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    1/2 c. molasses
    1 tsp. soda
    2/3 c. boiling water
    butter (the size of a walnut)
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. ginger
Preparation
    Mix together and pour into a greased 8 x 8-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
    Serve warm with Mrs.
    Parker's Sauce.
