Strawberry Tea Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. margarine
    1/2 c. Karo light corn syrup
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 pt. strawberries, coarsely chopped
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped walnuts (optional)
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
    In small bowl, stir together flour, baking powder and salt.
    In large bowl with mixer at medium speed, beat margarine until softened.
    Add corn syrup and sugar to margarine; beat until smooth.
    Add eggs. With mixer at low speed, beat in strawberries and vanilla.
    With wooden spoon, stir flour mixture into strawberry mixture just until moistened.
    Stir in walnuts.
    Turn into loaf pan.
    Bake 1 hour or until cake tester inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes and remove from pan.
    Bread slices best on second day.
