Ingredients

1/2 lb. Italian sausage
2 c. flour
1/4 c. grated Parmesan
1 tsp. salt
2/3 c. shortening
1/3 c. plus 1 Tbsp. cold water
Preparation

Brown sausage; crumble, drain and set aside.
Combine flour, cheese and salt.
Cut in shortening until mixture is the size of small peas.
Add sausage.
Add water, a little at a time, tossing and stirring with fork until dough is moist enough to hold together.
