Pickled Squash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 c. squash, sliced thin
    2 c. onions, sliced thin
    2 tsp. salt
    4 green peppers, sliced (bell nose)
    2 tsp. mustard seed
    2 tsp. celery seed
    2 c. white vinegar
    3 c. sugar
Preparation
    Sprinkle salt over squash and onions; let set for 1 hour. Drain.
