Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 plain 9-inch pie crust
    3 eggs
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. light corn syrup
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. (generous) pecans
Preparation
    Heat oven to 450\u00b0.
    Mix all ingredients together (except pie crust); pour into crust.
    Bake for 10 minutes at 450\u00b0.
    Lower oven to 350\u00b0; bake for 35 minutes.
    May be served warm or cooled with whipped cream or ice cream.
