Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. red potatoes
    1 large white onion
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 can cream of celery soup
    1 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Peel and cut potatoes in thick slices.
    Slice onion.
    Parboil potatoes and onion; drain.
    Mix soups and cheese.
    Layer potatoes, onion and soup mixture.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until bubbly and cheese is melted.
    Serves 8.
