Tomato Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

14 medium size green tomatoes
hot pepper
3 large onions
3 c. vinegar
1 1/2 c. sugar
Preparation

Cut green tomatoes into quarters.
Cut onions into quarters. Chop peppers.
Sprinkle salt over cut up peppers, onions and tomatoes.
Let soak for 4 hours or longer in nonaluminum container. Mix vinegar and sugar and heat to boiling.
Add chopped tomatoes, peppers and onions.
Cook until all are hot.
Place in jars and seal.
