Pralines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 c.) box light brown sugar
    3 c. pecans
    1/2 stick oleo
    1/3 c. water
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix first 4 ingredients in pan.
    Cook to 240\u00b0 (soft ball stage).
    Remove from heat.
    Add vanilla and stir until it starts to lose gloss.
    Drop in small portions on wax paper.
    Work fast!
