Mincemeat Hermits - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/4 c. milk
2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. allspice
1 c. mincemeat

Preparation

Cream shortening; add sugar, well beaten eggs and milk and mix.
Mix together dry ingredients and add small amount to first mixture.
Add mincemeat and remaining flour.
Drop batter by teaspoonful on greased cookie sheet and bake at 325\u00b0 until brown.
