Zippy Mushroom Appetizer - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. tarragon powder
    1/2 c. salad oil (Italian dressing)
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    dash of ground black pepper
    2 Tbsp. water
    dash of hot pepper sauce
    1 medium onion, sliced and separated into rings
    2 (6 oz.) cans broiled mushroom crowns, drained or 2 pt. fresh
Preparation
    Combine first 8 ingredients.
    Add onion and mushrooms.
    Cover. Refrigerate 8 hours, stirring several times.
    Drain and serve as appetizers.
