Christmas Egg Nog - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 eggs, separated
    2 qt. milk
    1 qt. whipping cream
    2 c. plus 1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 fifth bourbon or whiskey
    nutmeg
Preparation
    Blend egg yolks with sugar until sugar is dissolved.
    Add milk, a little at a time, to ensure sugar dissolving.
    Add nutmeg to taste. Add whiskey, about 1/2 bottle (more, if desired).
    Blend and set aside. Whip the cream until stiff.
    Whip egg whites with 1 tablespoon sugar until stiff.
    Fold whipped cream and egg whites into egg yolk mixture. Serve in punch bowl decorated with nutmeg and plastic holly, if desired.
