Mexicali Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans tamales, chopped
    1 lb. ground meat
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 clove garlic or 1 tsp. garlic salt
    1 can hominy, drained
    1 can condensed cream of chicken soup or mushroom
    1/2 can water
    1 c. American cheese, shredded
Preparation
    Cook ground meat (stirring so it doesn't stick together) with onion and garlic, until it is just done.
    Mix with all ingredients in a large casserole dish.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 30 minutes, until it's bubbly hot.
    Be sure tamales and hominy are drained well.
