Apricot Sweet Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (18 oz.) can sweet potatoes or yams, cut in 1 inch thick slices
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 tsp. orange peel, grated
    1/8 tsp. cinnamon
    1 (5 1/2 oz.) can apricot nectar
    1/3 c. water
    1 (16 oz.) can apricot halves
    1/2 c. pecans
Preparation
    Grease casserole.
    Boil sugar, cornstarch, orange peel, apricot nectar, water and spice.
    Pour over potatotes.
    Add apricots, pecans and one Tbsp. butter.
    Bake at 375\u00b0, uncovered, for 25 minutes (or for fresh sweet potatoes, 1 hour).
