Rush Hour Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. uncooked rice (preferably parboiled)
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. black pepper
1 Tbsp. instant minced onion
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp. ground cumin seed
2 Tbsp. cooking oil
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can chicken broth
2 soup cans water
1 (5 oz.) can boned chicken
1 (15 oz.) can mixed vegetables, undrained
1 can cream of chicken soup, undiluted
Preparation

In a large skillet, brown rice and seasonings in oil over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Add chicken broth and water. Cover and cook 20 minutes or until rice is cooked and water is absorbed.
Add chicken, vegetables and cream of chicken soup.
Mix well. Simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Serves 6 to 8.
