Lemon Daffodil Torte - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated milk)
    1/2 c. lemon juice
    1/2 tsp. grated lemon rind (optional)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. Crisco shortening
    1 c. milk
    yellow food coloring (optional)
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. vanilla
    4 egg whites
    3/4 c. flaked coconut
    Creamy White Frosting
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In medium bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk, lemon juice, rind and food coloring (if desired). Chill.
