Pasta Alla Puttanesca - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    olive oil
    1 can crushed tomatoes
    1 (2 oz.) jar capers
    10 oz. mixed olives
    1 lb. spaghetti or penne
    2 cloves garlic
    salt
    pepper
    crushed basil leaves to taste
    chopped parsley
Preparation
    In a medium saucepan, put enough oil to coat bottom of pot. Add crushed garlic and brown until golden.
    Add chopped olives (drained), rinsed capers, basil, parsley and pepper.
    Saute a few seconds, then add tomatoes and salt to taste; stir.
    Cover and turn heat on low.
    Cook for about 40 minutes, stirring often.
