Buttermilk Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. butter
    3 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Blend well butter and sugar.
    Add one egg at a time.
    Blend well.
    Sift flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda together. (Note:
    Add buttermilk and sifted flour mixture alternately until consumed.)
    Bake at 350\u00b0 about 45 minutes or until done, in three cake tins.
